-Elisa-

Name: Elisa Ansermin

Date of birth: : 6 June 1973

Zodiac sign:  gemini, ma I don’t believe in the signs of the zodiac and if you think of reading my daily, weekly, monthly o year sign hoping to find what could happen…I don’t think it’s going to be guessed.

Profession :during the day I’m a good secretary in an office, but besides singing that’s my work in the band too…at night: my job is trying to be a better musician.

Hobbies: I love music and wish that one day it could be my job for the rest of my life. I also have another wonderful passion which is diving and the sea in which I always feel great. It’s thanks to my diving passion that I met great people, and a very special person with whom I could realize a dream of having a band today: RARA AVIS:

Dreams and wishes to come true: I’m dreaming of a life that makes me travel, get to know the beautiful things around the world, meet new people (maybe singing, maybe diving) but which allows me to have a point of reference in a place where to find a sure shelter for body and mind.

Dreams and wishes that came true: know how to follow the heart and the passion realizing what’s right and what’s not.

Dreams and wishes which won’t come true : being happy always and forever.

Music path: when I was a child, my parents brought to piano lessons, with very little success though… My singing nature was stronger and so I stared to sing behind music tapes, writing down the lyrics. I started having an audience when I began singing in choir (more than one experience) and as the first singer in a Gospel group. My dream of having a band of my own comes true in the year 2000 when I met the guys which are with me the band RARA AVIS : together we sing and play and most important take all the decisions on which road to take in music. The nicest thing about having a band like mine is that you find another family. To improve the voice, beside rehearsals, I’m taking singing lessons.

Music taste: pop rock melodic music with mainly female voices but also more aggressive rock music: a mixture of rhythmic movements softened by a sweet melody and timbre.

First record disk bought: Culture Club, Blondie e Bonnie Taylor

Last record disk bought: Ks choice..Evanescence

Artist references: W. Houston, C. Dion, M. Carrey, Cranberries

Advice to give: never have the presumption of being the best , but in the same time no frustration of being the worst, always try the best in what ever you do, to become better, to grow up and to learn.
